Australian Cuisine

Australian Cuisine Begin is more than a cookbook — it is a bold declaration of what it means to be Australian. Spanning over 350 pages and seven distinct periods of the nation's history, from Indigenous cooking through to the modern era, the book is as much a cultural chronicle as it is a culinary reference. Working alongside chef Liam Randall, we developed a rich visual language capable of holding the full weight of that ambition — sorting and punctuating a vast compendium of recipes and food history with clarity, character, and purpose.

Reconciling ancient and contemporary cultures within a single volume is no small undertaking, and the design needed to honour that complexity while remaining inviting to a broad audience — those drawn to food, and those drawn to history in equal measure.
