Bendigo Art Gallery

Elvis: Direct from Graceland became the fastest-selling exhibition in the history of Bendigo Art Gallery — and our second branding commission for the gallery, following Mary Quant: Fashion Revolutionary. Exclusive to Bendigo, the exhibition brought together 300 artefacts in the most comprehensive collection of Elvis material ever shown outside of Graceland.

As designers for the exhibition branding, promotions, and environmental signage, we looked to capture Elvis at the peak of his personal brand — a moment many align with the iconic 1968 Comeback Special, when he reasserted his place in cultural history with unmistakable force.
The result is an identity as iconic as the man it celebrates — his name up in lights, commanding attention with the same effortless magnetism that defined his greatest performances.
"Now that the craziness is nearly over I just wanted to send a quick thank you to you and your team for everything that you helped out with during Elvis. The exhibition was a huge success and everyone loved the branding. Thank you again and we will be in touch!"
