A new voice for social services regulation

#new work #accessibility

New work from Design Democracy — and a project with purpose at its heart. The Social Services Regulator is Victoria's independent regulator of social service providers, established to protect the rights and interests of Victorians who access social services. We partnered with the SSR team to bring their inaugural annual report and strategic plan to life — a significant milestone for a newly established organisation building its public voice.

Both documents were designed as fully accessible format publications, built to be read and navigated by everyone, including people with disabilities who use assistive technology. For an organisation whose very purpose is to uphold the rights and wellbeing of vulnerable Victorians, that commitment to accessibility felt not just appropriate, but essential.

Alongside the reports, we developed a suite of brand assets that unites the organisation under one cohesive vision and purpose — giving the SSR a confident and considered identity from which to build.
