In our second commission for the ArchiTeam Awards, we built a bold and activating brand suited to an online event restricted by the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic. We created a visual identity that defies the “new normal” and rejects the usual limitations of the built environment.

Creating a series of graphic spaces, we explored impossible structures and unfathomable perspectives, hampered by none of the constraints of the physical world.

Our artworks evoke extraordinary environments inspired by Futurism, Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic dome, Fascist architecture and the German Expressionist film, Metropolis.

The 2020 event branding amplifies the potential of the impossible and the unreal, as ArchiTeam captures a pivotal moment to convert a popular annual program into their inaugural annual awards festival.
