When the COVID-19 pandemic moved the ArchiTeam Awards online, the constraints of the physical world fell away — and with them, every limitation on what the campaign identity could be. For our second ArchiTeam commission, we embraced that freedom entirely.

Drawing on the visionary energy of Futurism, the geometric ambition of Buckminster Fuller's geodesic dome, the monumental drama of Fascist architecture, and the expressionist otherworldliness of the German film Metropolis, we built a series of graphic spaces defined by impossible structures and unfathomable perspectives. The result is an identity that amplifies the potential of the unreal — bold, activating, and entirely unbound.

The campaign marked a pivotal moment for the organisation, as ArchiTeam seized the opportunity to transform a beloved annual program into their inaugural awards festival — and the identity rose to meet it.
